Enjoy time out paddling on the River Nene! You wouldn’t think you’re in the heart of Northampton and next to the A45. You can hire our kayaks, canoes or paddleboards.

You can hire for 1 hour at a time, if multiple hours are required you are able to book extra timeslots.

Everyone is required to wear a buoyancy aid on the water, these are included in the hire.

Types of Craft

Paddleboards

We’ve got paddleboards ready for anyone keen to step onto the water and give it a go. We recommend ages 8+ for individual boards, but younger adventurers are welcome to join the experience on a board with an adult for a fun and steady introduction

Kayaking

We’ve got kayaks ready for anyone keen to get out on the water and give it a go. We recommend ages 7+ for single kayaks, but for younger explorers, a double kayak or canoe is a great way to join the adventure together.

Canoeing

Our canoes are perfect for getting everyone out on the water together, with space for up to two adults and two children. It’s a great way to share the journey, whether you’re paddling as a family or heading out for a relaxed adventure on the river.

Important Information

Suitable footwear is required for all hire – closed toe shoes only (crocs, flip flops & sliders are not allowed).

Everyone is given a buoyancy aid, these must be worn for participants at all times.

If more than one hour is required, please select multiple timeslots.

Our hire is suitable for ages 7+, if you have anyone younger than this please do get in touch.
