What experience do I need?

You must hold a relevant British Canoe qualification or have a minimum of grade 2 whitewater paddling experience, on top of this you should be able to make break outs or ferry glide in order to stop or slow yourself down. If you do not yet meet these requirements, we do have a variety of different courses to build up your skills here. 

Paddlers are also welcome to take part as a group, supervised by a group leader who must hold a relevant British Canoe Coaching or River Leader qualification in the required discipline.

Group Leaders

Please first register as an unsupervised paddler by completing and sending over the documents for your first visit. You will then need to download and complete the Group Signing In Sheet with each group you lead throughout the year. This form must be completed for each visit if the group remains the same and sent over to info@northamptonactive.com

4 For £50 Weekends

This allow the paddler to purchase 4 tickets for just £50! These can only be redeemed in the individuals name and not passed onto anyone else. Only valid on weekend bookings.
