Our Whitewater Paddlers session is designed for individuals who crave the rush of navigating through dynamic river currents, surging waves, and swirling eddies.

Group Leaders

Please first register as an unsupervised paddler by completing and sending over the documents for your first visit. You will then need to download and complete the Group Signing In Sheet with each group you lead throughout the year. This form must be completed for each visit if the group remains the same and sent over to info@northamptonactive.com

Intro To Whitewater Kayak

A two day course taking you from your first experience in a kayak into the Whitewater environment. The course will look at the fundamental skills required to control your boat and build confidence on the moving water. It will give you an understanding of the equipment required as well as the hydrology of a river. Looking to give Whitewater kayaking a go or to progress your existing knowledge this course will push you to the next level.

Develop Whitewater Skills

A one day course building confidence on Whitewater. The course will progress and develop your flat water skills giving you the knowledge to apply them in the Whitewater environment. The course will look at the fundamental skills as well as equipment and simple hydrology.

4 For £55 Weekends

This allow the paddler to purchase 4 tickets for just £55! These can only be redeemed in the individuals name and not passed onto anyone else. Only valid on weekend bookings.

Our course is specifically designed to be safe and manageable, even for first-timers. If you are new to whitewater paddleboarding you can book onto our Develop Whitewater Skills where you will be taught all the skills required to paddle confidently down the rapids. For those wanting to improve their skills we also have Whitewater Coaching available which can be booked online. Our coaches will provide instruction and ensure you have a blast. They’ll teach you the basics of paddling, manoeuvring, and navigating rapids.
